The Amazon shoes brand is bringing its flagship Indian retail platform to India.
The online retail giant will launch its Prime Now online store in India from July 17.
The online platform, which is also called Prime, will be available for purchase in India for a nominal cost of Rs 10.
The Amazon Prime Now platform will be launched in five cities in the country, including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.
The platform will offer Prime members access to thousands of products including shoes, accessories, gifts and more.
The company has also launched a new product, the Amazon Watch, for the Indian market, priced at Rs 7,999.
Amazon’s Indian Prime Now initiative aims to bring India’s e-commerce giants to the country by offering customers the option of buying goods online, including in Amazon Prime stores, for an affordable price.
The Prime Now app will allow customers to purchase goods from Prime partners, as well as Prime members, on Amazon.com and Amazon.in platforms.
India is the biggest e-retailer in the world with over 60 million Amazon Prime members.
The e-tailers offer customers free delivery on most orders and the convenience of an easy-to-use app.
