Nike announced a pair in the spring of 2015 that feature a “crisp” texture on the tongue, a “soft touch” finish on the heel, and a “taste of the land” on the sole.
A pair of the shoes came with a leather strap, which Nike then took to Kickstarter and raised more than $60,000 to create a limited run.
The shoes featured a suede tongue with a “sticking-on” feel, a softer, “stiff” heel that “smells good,” and a smooth, soft, “soft” sole that is more comfortable than leather.
Pairing the shoes with a black Nike AirMax 1 Elite is a great way to see how the sneaker’s design differs from its black counterpart.
Nike has made a lot of strides in the last few years in regards to its sneakers, with some of the most impressive sneakers on the market today featuring high-end materials like leather, suede, and nylon.
The Nike Air Max 1 Elite, on the other hand, is still made of leather, but it’s made out of a much more affordable, premium material: the rubber outsole.
If you’re in the market for a pair that’s designed to give your feet a great feel, then this pair of sneakers is definitely worth your money.
